James C. Brett Marble Chunky

I've been using this for a while and loving the pattern, mainly I love the yellow, purple, white and pink mix, but there is also a beautiful blue, white and purple I want to try as I don't know the number I can only get them by mail order because my store sells out quickly and for 200g it goes a long way on the Knitting Board.
All the colours have nice mixes which I love!

There's a bunch of Blues in one mix which I'd like to get for a baby's blanket for my Husband's Cousin's Wife so I'm excited and want to get this blue as they know it'll be a boy!

But this I love the best!

New Knitting Club

I'm in a new Knitting Club, youngest by at least 25+ years but they are all nice and so interested in my Knitting board and Circular Looms. Currently they/me are making hats for men for the Winter. No idea what we're doing next but I did five hats this week alone and before I get there I'll have six done!

So I can't wait to see what happens next, it's interesting, the ladies are so nice and very polite. They even asked me about my tattoos! They enjoyed looking at the and such so I thought it was funny, they liked them all but the rats! LOL It was funny they eww'ed at them but it was rather funny!

New Puppy!!!

This weekend we're getting a new puppy!! It's a boy who will be called either Finnegan or Keagen or possibly even Kinzer Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is the breed. I think it's going to be great but if you have a name ideas please post so that I can get an idea on the names we picked.

We've seen the photo of him and he's adorable well both are as we get to pick from two boys and just so cute is the word!! I can't wait to have him climbing all over me and chasing Baxter and watching our first puppy grow up and play with us from very real puppy to old dog. All our other dogs/bitches have been rescues with history of only one! So this will be a new experience for us!!

I do hope that he doesn't eat my Knitting Board, Circular Looms or my yarn!!! He'll live on my bed with me and Baxie when he wants to see me. But all my yarn is all around my bedroom and I need to have it cleaned up ASAP!!
But I'm still excited about it all!!

New baby puppy, I can't wait!!!

Sorry for the delay

Sorry for my delay but I've been in and out of hospital for my ear with a constant ear infection, well that's now fixed but it's taken my hearing with it. I can barely hear normal tones now so it's a good thing I don't have to talk as I scream a lot when ears are clogged.
Now I'm due to a set of hearing aids :( But no option here...

Still looking for a new dog for Baxter as he's lonely but we think he LOVES the over attention he's been getting! All the better for him. We went to the kennel and got a few dogs in mind for him to possibly like. Another Staffie (I know I said no more terriers but this one is adorable!!) This one is a pure white Staffie Terrier, and I've already named her Taffy! So all the better but if Baxter doesn't like her or she doesn't like Baxter then there's nothing we can do about it but keep saving for the Basset Puppy which there are lots of around currently.

We're also waiting on two female chipmunks from a friend. These two will be brown so our litter mix will be white and brown. We're excited about this as it will be our first litter of chipmunk babies!! Anyone wanting any VERY easy care pets, that are very entertaining let me know!! I'm taking pre-orders for them, seriously they're so easy to keep, feed and they are so very entertaining!! Hours of watching them run around and chase easy each other if you get two!

I've been working on hats for Simon's cousin's partner's new baby due in May. So I've been making hats for him, it's like so very easy to make with the new Circle Looms I now have! Neither Simon or I am into hats but I can make this baby hats forever!! LOL
Now to make him a blanket that he'll love and will match his hat, but maybe making him a jumper first would be better! It's very soft and all in pastel colours, White, Yellow, Green, Blue and Pink, yes Pink but I doubt a little will both him and I don't think Mum to be will mind either. I also made him a Black and White so it's all natural for either Boy or Girl! Just in case the scan might have been wrong, I doubt it but I hope she likes the hats and the Pastel hat will stretch a bit for him.

Well back to things again and hopefully until I get my letter about it's time to pack my ears to get sized for the hearing aids. Then go in and get them, well at least the volume will go from over 40 to back down to 12 and I can read a book instead of listening to them all the time. Always looking for the books on Kindle with Speech Enabled On so I can get through it and such.

Sorry about the delay but I'm back I hope and will be posting again!

Have you seen or used this knitting machine??

Prym Knitting Machine I found in a magazine, you're suppose to be able to make tubes and panels ans other shapes on this machine. I asked on KWON on Ravelry and only one person had heard of it sadly but please comment if you use or know about this. This polite woman also mentioned something about it being on YouTube and thinking it was fake so I'm going to search out on YouTube and see what I can find and if it's worth the cost.

I really want it to do a lot of things before I put out all that money, I already have the Knitting Board and the Circular Looms, but just cranking a handle and making something 50% at least quicker is appealing to me, but again there is the cost issue.

I also want the other Weaving Looms but again it's cost over what I already have. It will come down to talking to Si and asking him which I can have or if he'll allow both! Not that I need to ask him but it's more polite to ask him about it then just buying them and starting an argument because it's over £100 for both so you get the idea about what each costs.

So please if you have any information about the knitting machine post a comment so I can figure out how. Many thanks in advance!!.

Dyeing Fluff

I have a bunch of 100% Merino Fibre and since when I practise I prefer to do it with colour! I'm still on the practise, practise, practise part with the spinning but at least now I'm getting there a bit more and more each day. I'm at least doing about a foot spun a day! I'm not running on fast but actually quite slow but I'm told that it'll be in time my speed will pick up.

Plus a very good wonderful friend of mine also spins and I'd love to make some dyed Merino for her, so I'm soaking some currently overnight so the acid and salt get into all the fibres overnight. I have some colours made up already but I want to try something funky for her and see how it all works out. I have a lot of colours to choose from but I'm not going to ask her I'm going to dye it with what I have. So it will actually be a surprize to me as well!

Simon loves when it comes time for cooking the fibre, he stands on the steps and watches it cook in the microwave until it's all clear water draining if any is left. I have a huge airing cupboard and my fibre is usually dried in about two days maximum! I'm lucky enough to have the heated airing cupboard where I know others who don't have one and have to dry in other methods.

Now to have fun with it and make something my friend will want to spin!

Round Robin...

Joined a Round Robin but done in a different way, lucky I didn't ask much on my theme I'm hoping. I'm Buddhist/Wiccan and had asked for incense for my meditation so all I can hope for is easy and also mentioned that my favourite scent is Vanilla with hopes I get something Vanilla! I also put down Buddha statues the little cheap ones as I collect Buddha statues from a three foot tall one to a 200 year old one so I have everything in between!

Now I can only hope the ones I get are just as easy and clear as what I asked for. I dread a theme of Winter, what would you put in for that, I'd have to stalk them and find out what they're into and figure out what Winter means. Something small that means winter to me would be Silver and/or Blue.

It's definitely one for making you think and wok hard on which I think is the reason for it. Oh well I signed up for it and I'll do my best with it!!
